Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Reach Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to work the night shift in a cold storage environment. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT license and previous recent experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating the FLT, loading and unloading goods efficiently, and ensuring stock is stored correctly and maintained accurately. The role also involves supporting the team with general warehouse duties and taking part in general cold store duties from loading/unloading/wrapping and stacking pallets when required. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a cold environment and will have their own safety boots. The company offers a friendly and supportive team environment, free onsite parking, and a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate FLT in a cold storage environment
  • Load and unload goods efficiently
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and maintain accurate records
  • Support the team with general warehouse duties
  • Picking and putting away of stock in a cold store
  • Transferring stock using RF guns
  • Taking part in general cold store duties from loading/unloading/wrapping and stacking pallets when required
Requirements:
  • Valid FLT license (Reach)
  • Previous recent experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment
  • Own Safety boots
