We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Wex Europe Services, a rapidly expanding business in the fuel card portfolio industry. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of our data & analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement optimized data pipelines to ensure the integrity, reliability, and usability of data for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement SQL-first transformation workflows to deploy analytics code.
  • Develop efficient data marts that cater to the needs of specific business units, functions, or departments.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of ETL tooling and data transformation tasks.
  • Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of query optimization strategies.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing team and take pride in owning results.
  • Constant learning and upskilling to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

What We Offer:

  • Highly competitive salary, £60,000-90,000 (depending on experience).
  • Annual company bonus.
  • 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with ad hoc working from our Manchester office.
