North Somerset Environment Company Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV/LGV C (Class 2) Driver to join their Collections teams on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a first-class service, collecting recycling and waste from households in North Somerset.

The role involves working in a physically demanding environment, with pre-set routes and planned out tasks. The company provides training, equipment, and technology to support the driver in completing their tasks. Dedicated supervisors are available for guidance on a daily basis.

Requirements for the role include a valid LGV Class C / HGV Class 2 Licence, a clean driving licence, and the ability to work in a full-time physically demanding role. The company offers a range of benefits, including fully funded Driver Medicals and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
