We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with severe mental illness in Camden.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage complex clinical cases involving severe and enduring mental illness and significant risk histories.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including pharmacotherapy and case management options.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
- Contribute to the leadership of the North Camden Recovery & Rehabilitation Team and the division as a whole.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
- Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status (or eligibility) - qualifies to act as a Responsible Clinician.
- Registered with Royal College of Psychiatrists CPD programme and in good standing.
- Shared Services training up to date to be an approved trainer/clinical supervisor.
