International EFL Lecturer Job in Scotland

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced English language instructor to join our team at Edinburgh College. As an International EFL Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students from diverse backgrounds on our international programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver English language instruction to students with diverse skill levels
  • Lesson Planning: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues to develop curriculum and programme materials

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field (SCQF Level 11 equivalent)
  • CELTA or Trinity Diploma qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching EFL/ESL to adult learners
  • Experience with Cambridge, IELTS, or Trinity exams desirable
