Product Support Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Support Lead Engineer to join our EngineeringUK team in London. As a key member of our Prime Air team, you will be responsible for leading the technical support organization and driving high drone service availability in the UK/EU region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support for Prime Air developed drone systems as the first point of contact.
  2. Prioritize and facilitate technology deployment to regional delivery sites.
  3. Collaborate with HQ development engineering to drive continuous service improvement opportunities.
  4. Support regulatory site visits, audits, and product demonstrations.
A Day in the Life

As a Product Support Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for launching and supporting our international service expansion. You will drive the deployment of hardware and software functionality, investigate issues, and drive operational efficiency for our UK and European Service Operations teams. You will also support regional on-call and enable rapid response to any events considered reportable.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  2. Experience working on aerospace products and projects.
  3. Experience with EASA or CAA.
  4. Experience working in design, product (technical or operational) support, or field service.
  5. Experience with new product introduction/launch, and change introduction.
  6. Experience with project planning and prioritization of requests.
  7. Experience with troubleshooting, trend analysis, and RCCA (root cause and corrective action).
  8. Experience building and leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  2. Experience with customer-facing roles.
  3. Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and driving operational efficiency.
  4. Experience with quality systems.
  5. Experience with change management and technology deployment.
  6. Experience with design or redesign of integrated systems.
  7. Experience working with suppliers.
  8. Experience with manufacturing and supply chain logistics.
  9. Experience with repair stations and recertification.
