About the Role

BAM Nuttall is seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead the planning and execution of our geotechnical engineering projects across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our works, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of tender stage and site phase methodologies
  • Implement and promote safe systems of work across all activities
  • Directly supervise section/trades foremen and sub-contractors
  • Supervise operations through effective delegation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development of the workforce and identify training requirements
  • Ensure high standards of quality on the works, meeting or exceeding specification requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in delivering geotechnical works, including piling, soil nailing, ground anchors, and grouting
  • SMSTS certification
  • PTS certification
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Medium Risk Confined Space Level 2 C&G or greater (desired but training can be provided)
  • Strong personal skills to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Promote a culture of exceeding expectations and awareness of project and business goals
  • Practical experience and knowledge of a comprehensive range of ground engineering methods and techniques
