Advocate Specialist

VoiceAbility is a leading advocacy charity organisation that has been supporting people to have their say in decisions about their health, care, and wellbeing for over 40 years.

We deliver a wide range of service contracts funded by local authorities, health trusts, and other voluntary and private sector organisations. Our mission is to ensure that people are heard when it matters most.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:

This is an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join our team in Glasgow and shape our services covering the area. As an Advocate, your role will require you to travel to clients' homes and community settings to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration and need access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Experience of working in advocacy or providing welfare, support, or caring for adults who have support needs
• Transferable skills, such as communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• An ability to work resourcefully and collaboratively with individuals and teams
