Job Description

Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and repair customers' amplifiers
  • To provide quotes when necessary for work to be undertaken
  • To answer technical queries from customers and provide qualified engineers' advice and guidance
  • To report work undertaken on internal systems
  • To provide detailed reports to be sent back with the amplifier
  • To be familiar with internal systems to access circuits and diagrams
  • To answer technical emails
  • To collect parts needed for repair from stores departments
  • To dispose of components in line with company procedures
  • To communicate any recurring issues or technical issues found with managers
  • To ensure customer and personal safety at all times
  • To organize workshop stock and tool replenishment
  • To be on hand to give advice and help to colleagues

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to give advice and help colleagues
  • An excellent communicator
  • A qualification within Electrical & Electronics (Ideally BTEC Level 3)
  • Experience of repairing Hifis and TVs
