Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to support our Conveyancing Department in Shaftesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documentation, digital dictation, and copy typing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Digital dictation and copy typing services
  • Managing mail, emails, and messages
  • Liaising with clients and internal departments
  • Managing Fee Earner's diaries and preparing files for billing
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a legal secretarial role within conveyancing is preferred
  • First-rate secretarial and typing skills are essential
  • The ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • First-rate communication skills at all levels
