Refrigeration Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at careers4a - Jobboard. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining blast freezers, holding stores, cold rooms, and chillers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with the installation of large refrigeration equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and identify faults.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Field-based meetings with clients, requiring strong customer-facing skills.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driver's license.
  • NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or FGAS certification.
  • Experience working with refrigeration equipment.
Package:
  • Up to £40,000 per annum.
  • 40-hour workweek.
  • Door-to-door service.
  • 28 days of holiday, including bank holidays, with annual increases.
  • 1 in 5 on-call shifts, initially phone-based.
  • Company-provided van and fuel card.
  • Uniform, tools, and laptop.
