Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector, where you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks across all plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Fault find and execute repairs, adhering to the highest standards of workmanship and safety protocols.
  • Participate in projects, including new installations and equipment relocation, to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize PC/Mobile based maintenance software to document work completed and track maintenance history.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within the steel or automotive industry, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of PLCs for fault finding (I/O) and electrical installations to regulations, with a strong emphasis on safe systems of work.
  • City & Guilds or B tech qualification in electrical installation or maintenance is essential.
