Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Engineering Specialist to join our team at Expleo Group UK Jobs. As a key member of our Connected Car & Navigation team, you will be responsible for testing and developing future vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare and maintain vehicles or components for test, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Instrumentation and Testing: Set up and test instrumentation in static and dynamic conditions, evaluating results and identifying concerns.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from tests and write detailed reports, highlighting findings and recommendations.
  • Fault Finding and Vehicle System Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems to identify and diagnose faults, providing expert advice on vehicle system performance.

Requirements:

  • A City & Guilds / IMI / NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Significant experience in automotive electrical and electronic test and development related to HMI, navigation, infotainment, or mobile phone applications.
  • Proven test and diagnostic skills, with experience working with various vehicle systems.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Location: United Kingdom
