Job Title: 1:1 Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a student with physical needs in one of our over-subscribed Secondary schools in South Bristol.

The ideal candidate will have a care background or experience in supporting children or adults with physical needs, and will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment that enables the student to make progress and access their learning.

As a Support Assistant, you will work closely with the school's SENCO and SEND team to support the student with their individual plan for learning and development.

The role involves:

  • Providing 1:1 support to the student with physical needs
  • Assisting with academic and personal tasks
  • Working closely with the SENCO and SEND team to develop and implement individual plans
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for the student
