Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing companionship and preventing loneliness
  • Assisting with personal care, including all aspects of personal hygiene
  • Collecting prescriptions and providing medication reminders
  • Preparing tasty meals and assisting with mealtimes
  • Keeping clients' homes clean and tidy
  • Assisting with mobility and helping clients get around

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
