Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Manage a team of six direct reports, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Customer Service: Drive the department towards absolute customer service by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, maintaining high standards of quality control, and ensuring all customer orders are quality checked prior to dispatch.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily customer orders, support and oversee Goods In processes, manage the supply of production kits, and assist in route planning to optimise delivery schedules.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that forklift daily checks are completed and any defects are reported promptly for repairs, maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and organised warehouse environment, and promote and implement high standards of hygiene and housekeeping practices in the warehouse.
- Development and Training: Enhance people management, HR skills, and coaching techniques, develop knowledge of transport compliance regulations, and gain expertise in Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) compliance.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
- Strong commitment to quality control and customer service.
- Ability to drive operational efficiency and improve processes.
- Knowledge of transport compliance regulations and FORS compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
