Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teaching assistant to join our dynamic primary school team in Nottinghamshire as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to take the next step in their career and contribute to the academic and personal development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Teaching and Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, providing support to the class teacher and leading small group sessions.
  • Deliver Interventions: Implement targeted intervention programs to support pupils with specific learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assess and Monitor Progress: Assist in the assessment of pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Manage Classroom Activities: Take responsibility for managing classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Engage with Parents and Carers: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
