Job Title: Senior Support Worker

At Thera East, we are seeking a compassionate and caring Senior Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. Your role will involve assisting the Senior Management Team in developing support plans, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring the overall health and safety of our service users. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team of Support Workers and using a person-centred approach to empower individuals to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement support plans to meet the needs of individuals with a learning disability
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of Support Workers
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of service users
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with a learning disability
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
