Job Summary

We are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Brookthorpe Hall School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils with Autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to pupils with Autism and complex needs.
  • Prepare and deliver learning materials and activities to engage pupils and promote their learning.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to pupils, helping them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and achievement of all pupils.

Requirements

  • Appropriate Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside.
  • Ability to take a responsive and caring approach to supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs.
