Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team at United Response in Newmarket.

As a Caregiver Specialist, you will be responsible for providing active support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life. Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying them on leisure activities, and advocating for their needs.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support that meets their unique requirements. • Providing active support to individuals with disabilities
• Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and cooking
• Accompanying individuals on leisure activities, such as cooking classes and sailing
• Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills
• Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

To be successful in this role, you must possess a full clean driving license, be patient, resilient, and have a positive approach to support work. You should also be passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share our values.
