About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Associate to join our team. As a Learning Support Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and pupils in local mainstream primary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to facilitate effective lesson delivery and provide individualized support to students with varying learning and emotional needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs.
  • Provide small group and 1:1 support to students, adapting to their individual needs and learning styles.
Requirements
  • Must be a patient, reliable, and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to the needs of the individual pupils.
  • Experience working either 1:1 with children or in small groups is highly desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK and an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
