Nursery Nurse / Room Leader Opportunity

We are proud to be working with a reputable nursery school near Cambridge, seeking a qualified and passionate individual to join their team as a Room Leader or Nursery Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and thrive.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, planning and delivering activities that meet the individual needs of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs.
  • To work collaboratively with the team to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive environment, promoting the welfare and safety of all children.
  • To contribute to the development of a culturally diverse and inclusive nursery environment, reflecting the local community's values and traditions.
  • To provide a welcoming and supportive environment for children, families, and colleagues, fostering strong relationships and a sense of community.
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early years education, ensuring the nursery school remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nursery Nurse or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality early years education and creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
