We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Failsafe Officer. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with our diabetic eye screening team to ensure that all patients with diabetes receive the necessary screening.
Main Responsibilities:- Implement and manage a robust failsafe system to ensure timely and accurate screening of patients with diabetes.
- Engage with hard-to-reach cohorts of patients to encourage attendance and participation in diabetic eye screening.
- Work closely with the diabetic eye screening team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Complete administrative competencies in health screening course and level 3 Diploma in Health Screening.
- Educated to GCSE level.
- 3 years of experience in an NHS patient contact and administration service.
- 1 year of experience working as a diabetic eye screener.
- High level of hand-eye coordination and understanding of diabetes and retinopathy.
£24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
