Maintenance Operations Leader

This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to deliver high-quality services to customers in a timely and safe manner. The Maintenance Operations Leader will be based in Heathrow, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on Nights, from 6pm-6am.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that KONE's service delivery meets the agreed standards of quality, as well as ensuring the safety of employees and end-users. This includes managing the operational service delivery team, establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers, coaching and motivating technicians to continuously improve field performance, and managing maintenance operations and variable costs according to targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining good customer relationships through regular interaction
  • Coaching and leading maintenance technicians to improve their performance
  • Managing maintenance operations and variable costs
  • Ensuring customer retention by meeting service commitments and keeping promises
  • Communicating with customers about delivered promises
  • Answering customer queries promptly and resolving complaints accurately

In addition, the Maintenance Operations Leader will be accountable for:

  • Safety of all employees and end-users
  • Delivery of service according to service contract commitments, time limits, KONE quality standards, and local regulations
  • High-quality service through presence in the field, regular audits, and promoting a strong safety and quality culture
  • Investigating near misses, incidents, and accidents, and following company policy on evidence custody and internal reporting

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as good written and spoken English.
