About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Educator to join our team of experienced tutors. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual learners, ensuring they receive high-quality education and support.
  • Progress Monitoring and Feedback: Regularly monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and academic success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure seamless communication and coordination, promoting a collaborative approach to education.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Eligibility and DBS Check: Must live and be eligible to work in the UK, with a willingness to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
