About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Nurse/Care Practitioner to join our team in the Urgent Treatment Centre. As a Trainee ENP/ECP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a qualified designated practitioner.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • To work autonomously within the Urgent Treatment Centre to deliver care to patients under clinical supervision.">
  • To develop into an independent practitioner who can assess, diagnose, treat and discharge or refer patients.">
  • To support the Professional Development Nurse (PDN) and Lead Nurse as needed in delivering local and national audits.">
  • To assist in achieving quality and performance indicators by ensuring timely review/transfer/discharge of patients.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A Registered Nurse NMC/Registered Paramedic qualification.">
  • Considerable experience in an emergency or urgent care setting with exposure to a wide range of patients with urgent care needs.">
  • Minimum band 6 experience.">
  • Evidence of recent and continuous practice development.">
  • An understanding of local and national issues relating to Emergency and Urgent care.">

Salary and Benefits

">

The salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
