We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team at Archangel Imaging. As a Drone and Robotics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge autonomous capabilities for our clients.

About the Role

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing autonomous systems for drones and robots. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver world-class solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop autonomous systems for drones and robots
  • Work with our team to integrate third-party solutions and leverage standard technologies
  • Establish and automate testing procedures to ensure the stability of autonomy components
  • Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of autonomy components
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related subject
  • Proficiency with Python and C++, experience working in a large collaborative codebase
  • Experience with computer vision based positioning and navigation in UxVs (Visual Odometry, SLAM)
  • Experience designing and validating complex robotic systems
  • Familiarity with edge-deploying code on low SWaP computers
  • Demonstrated delivery of functioning robotic systems
