About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Efficiency Engineer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, programming, and optimising automated systems to support production efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Optimise Automated Systems: Analyse and improve automated systems to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams to address any automation issues or breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of automated systems to minimise downtime and prolong the life of equipment.
  4. Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to improve production processes through automation enhancements and implement necessary adjustments.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of automation programming, changes, maintenance schedules, and modifications to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • A strong background in manufacturing engineering, preferably with experience in PLC systems and robotics.
