This role is a critical part of our Independent Compliance Risk Management department, responsible for assessing compliance risks and controls implemented by Citi's first and second line of defense.

The successful candidate will have several years of testing experience, with a strong background in auditing principles, including audit planning, risk assessments, development of risks and controls matrices, processes and controls design assessments, controls operating effectiveness testing, transactional testing, and reporting activities.

They will also possess excellent oral communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with non-executives and executive management across multiple business lines and control functions.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or law. Experience in compliance, internal or external auditing, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof, is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive base salary of £60,000 per annum, which is annually reviewed, plus a discretionary annual performance-related bonus. Our benefits package includes generous holiday allowance, private medical insurance packages, employee assistance program, pension plan, paid parental leave, special discounts for employees, family, and friends, and access to an array of learning and development resources.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model, offering up to 2 days working from home per week.
