We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of our People Policies, ensuring they align with our NICE values and strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • To develop, review, and update People Policies in line with ACAS, current legislation, best practice, and organisational needs.
  • To ensure all policies are written in clear, concise, and accessible language reflecting NICE values and Restorative and Just Learning principles.
  • To support the rollout of new or refreshed suite of People Policies, including the preparation of communication plans, updating NICE Space (Intranet), training materials, and guidance documents.
  • To support delivery of training on People Related Policies, processes, and to support the Learning and Development and OD functions to devise and deliver training to managers.
  • To monitor compliance and evaluate effectiveness, identifying any areas of improvement.

Requirements
  • Experience in People Policy (HR) development and implementation, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder management.
  • Experience of providing advice on complex policy issues and working with managers on the use and interpretation of policies terms and conditions.
Knowledge
  • Broad and comprehensive generalist HR knowledge base with a sound understanding of a wide range of HR policies and procedures.
Other
  • Able to support, guide, reassure, and coach managers on a range of people policy queries.
