Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Roofing Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist construction recruitment consultancy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in roofing systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality quantity surveying services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and review contracts, tenders, and schedules of rates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on roofing systems.
  • Strong understanding of subcontracts, schedules of rates, and technical drawings.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to project sites.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • CSCS card and/or Quantity Surveying degree an advantage.
