Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team at Ridge & Partners LLP. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing project management teams, managing clients, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with leading and managing project management teams
  • Manage clients and develop further opportunities
  • Participate in business development forums and link into the project management discipline across all offices
  • Grow the group with new and repeat clients
  • Establish detailed client briefs and responsibilities of consultants and specialists
  • Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with clients and within the design team
  • Arrange feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, and site evaluation
  • Advise on and implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists
  • Coordinate and obtain planning consents and all necessary statutory approvals
  • Prepare and maintain master programmes for all pre- and post-contract activities and monitor progress
  • Manage finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommending payments by clients
  • Manage design teams, including leading on risk and value management
  • Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received, and appoint contractors
  • Inspect and monitor construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
  • Oversee the administration of building contracts, including the preparation of all necessary instructions and certificates
  • Chair progress, coordination, and project meetings throughout the contract period
  • Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project inspection, scheduling, and acceptance of works required under the defects liability and maintenance provisions of the contract
  • Day-to-day responsibility for projects and workstreams
  • Provide a single point of contact and liaise with clients

Requirements

You must have experience working in a project management capacity within a built environment consultancy.
