Employment and Shares Tax Manager Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading Top 15 firm of chartered accountants in Maidstone, Kent, who are seeking an Employment and Shares Tax Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic position within the business's personal tax department, offering a range of employment and share scheme services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

You will be part of a large tax team, working closely with partners to provide advisory projects to clients, including compliance, tax advisory, structuring, and transaction work. You will also be involved in business development initiatives and working with the team to generate new work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage employment tax relationships with clients.
  • Lead work and be actively involved in the provision of advisory projects to clients, including proactive and reactive work.
  • Report directly to tax partners and directors.
  • Identify opportunities to take additional services to clients and contacts.
  • Lead and support business development initiatives.
  • Take primary responsibility for financial performance on client/project work.
  • Billing responsibility for work, balancing recovery and client expectations.
  • Consider and manage risk in all interactions with clients.
  • Show a sense of urgency and understanding of how delivery impacts the Firm's ability to serve clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification essential.
  • Significant employment tax/share scheme experience on a range of compliance and advisory projects.
  • A passion for client service.
  • Display energy, enthusiasm, and a focus on achieving results.
