About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians, committed to excellence in healthcare. Our Optometrists play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and service, and we are looking for a skilled candidate who is eager to contribute to our store's excellent service levels and foster positive relationships within our team and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations
  • Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support our team with training, coaching and maintaining all our departmental standards
  • Deliver a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions
  • Gain additional accreditations as needed to deliver these services

About You

We are looking for a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda). You will be able to use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience and be passionate about developing new patient services and shaping the culture of the department.
