Regional Sales Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our business development team and drive sales growth for our AutoCoding business. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating, instigating, and closing sales opportunities, responding to new enquiries from within our existing customer base and with new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend on-site customer meetings, presentations, quotations/proposals, and on-site packaging line surveys
- Recruit, train, and monitor the performance of sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying training needs
- Develop specific actions to build a network of contacts and market intelligence on the industry
- Create engaging sales plans using systems and meetings to motivate the team and progress sales
- Research, analyse, and set price points to maximise sales and maintain healthy profit margins
- Identify opportunities by keeping track of competitor activity and use industry knowledge to identify potential new markets and increase market share
- Develop accurate forecasts and use a sales CRM to manage the sales pipeline and record information on prospects
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working at a senior level within Sales
- Experience selling business applications and complex solutions within manufacturing
- Knowledge of the "system integration" industry and/or the UK food industry and its leading players is an advantage
- Building and mentoring winning sales teams, creating and selling concepts and solution-based proposals, and establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Commercial negotiation skills and flexibility to travel around the UK
