Job Overview: Reactive Recruitment is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to fill the role of Medical Assessor. As a Medical Assessor, you will conduct assessments for individuals who have been injured at work or have developed a health condition that prevents them from working.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the Medical Assessor role include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals
  • Gathering evidence and information
  • Making informed decisions about entitlement to benefits
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Reporting findings

Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of one year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic. They must also have full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with no restrictions and a valid PIN. In addition, applicants should possess strong observational and communication skills, proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access, and a valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.

Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary of £45,650, comprising a starting salary of £38,500 and additional bonuses up to 10%. Additional benefits include 25 days of annual leave (increasing to 27 days after 5 years), reimbursement for registration fees, support for revalidation, and paid day off for volunteering.
