At Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Limited, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plant Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our depots have the right level of expertise to meet the demands of our customers.

As a Lynch Apprentice, you will embark on a two-year journey that will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Plant Fitter. You will split your time between learning at a training college and working on real plant machinery in our Southern Depot.

During your apprenticeship, you will be familiarised with a range of machines and learn how to maintain and repair the equipment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Fitters and benefit from being part of a friendly team, guidance, and mentoring, career advancement opportunities, and the chance to work with the very latest technology.

Our Apprenticeship Programme allows you to earn as you learn, with a competitive salary and benefits package. You must have a driver's licence and own means of transport.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing plant machinery
  • Working on real plant machinery in our Southern Depot
  • Learning from experienced Fitters
  • Developing skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Plant Fitter
