About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner/Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment
- Support the surgical team during procedures, including scrubbing and de-scrubbing
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Desirable: Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
