As an Adult Care Trainer, you will work from home, visiting care settings in the North East region to train and support adult care apprentices.
With a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, and no weekend or evening shifts, you will have the autonomy to manage your diary and choose when to meet learners face-to-face or deliver online sessions.
You will be responsible for training and mentoring adult care apprentices, tailoring learning plans to meet their individual needs, and guiding them in functional skills such as English and maths.
Strong relationships with care home employers are essential, providing them with feedback on apprentices' progress and development.
Support and mentor apprentices through face-to-face visits, online training, and ongoing guidance to help them achieve their qualifications and become confident professionals.
Key qualifications and skills include a Level 3 qualification in Adult Care, experience at Senior Care Worker, Deputy Care Manager, or Care Manager level, strong technology skills, and a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
