Senior Accountant / Client Manager Opportunity

Tpfrecruitment is supporting a reputable chartered accountancy practice in a picturesque location, seeking a qualified Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven individual looking to progress in their career.

The practice has a medium-sized team of accountants and tax advisors, offering a great balance of support and autonomy. As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will manage your own client portfolio across accounts and tax, with opportunities to get involved in technical advisory services such as consolidated accounts, cashflows, corporate finance, and valuations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review accounts for a wide range of companies.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax and personal tax returns.
  • Advise clients on tax and advisory matters, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Support clients with ad-hoc project work, including consolidated accounts, cashflows, and corporate finance.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years of general practice experience at a medium-large independent practice, top 10, or big 4 practice.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of accounts and taxation work.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of accounting and tax standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Competency in MS Office and familiarity with Iris, Sage, and Xero.
