Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in their state-of-the-art food production facility. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving process and plant equipment, carrying out planned maintenance activities, and corrective maintenance activities when needed.

About the Role

  • Maintain and improve process and plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Carry out planned maintenance activities, including routine checks and repairs
  • Perform corrective maintenance activities when needed, including troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Implement improvements that align to operations and plant performance plans
  • Reduce costs by eliminating waste and improving efficiency
  • Build and maintain an effective Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who has a strong background in electrical or mechanical maintenance, preferably in an FMCG environment. The ideal candidate will have:

Apprentice training and qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical17th edition electrical wiring qualificationStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureCompetence in PLC fault finding and ability to read and understand schematic drawingsAptitude for fault finding and diagnosis
