You will be responsible for leading on the county's response to national and regional publications, as well as working closely with district council colleagues, local members, and central government. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in taking complex planning policies and realizing their impacts on the county council.
About the TeamThe Infrastructure Investment Team is a dynamic and collaborative group that works together to make great ideas a reality. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from strategic planning policy to shaping housing and business growth.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with a degree or higher qualification in town and country planning, surveying, or a related subject, who also possesses experience working at a senior level of responsibility within a complex political environment. You will have a solid understanding of the development process and be able to demonstrate experience of providing evidence and acting as an expert witness in public inquiries.
Additionally, you should have a proven track record of promoting consensual partnership working between diverse organizations, championing collaboration and shared goals. Extensive project management experience, along with the ability to apply various project management techniques, is essential to succeed in this role.
