Hamiltonian Dynamics: Seeking an Experienced Software Engineer

We are a start-up based in Gloucestershire and Manchester, working in the Defence and Cyber Security industries. Our company is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our growing technology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software applications using various technologies, including Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Work with our team to design and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our defence and cyber security experts to ensure that our software solutions are secure and meet the required standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and contribute to the development of our company's technology strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Vue, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, MERN, Elasticsearch, and Neo4J.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.

Our Process

We believe in keeping things simple and straightforward. Our recruitment process consists of a two-stage interview process, including a chat with our recruiter and a 1-hour Teams call with two members of our team.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, you must be a UK citizen and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years. This role requires you to be SC cleared or could become SC cleared. We are also recruiting people with a higher level of clearance or those who would like to gain a higher level clearance.

The role is initially a remote role, but you will need to be commutable to Gloucester, Manchester, or Central London to enable you to work on customer premises if and when required.

The salary banding for this role is £50-80k, depending on experience.
