About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with neurological difficulties and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as staff training and consultation to promote a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Conduct research and publish findings to contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of clinical psychology and neuro-rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • HCPC registration or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments and acquired brain injury.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
