About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for technical development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions. You will also lead teams, ensuring quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.

A strong understanding of relevant legislation and water industry regulation is essential, along with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange. Additionally, expertise in hydraulic modeling, catchment planning, and related wastewater infrastructure areas is necessary.

About the Team

RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients. We have a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements in place, working with several major water companies across the UK.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Technical development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions (including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering and cost-benefit analysis studies).
  2. Awareness of solution feasibility and buildability engineering factors.
  3. Continuous improvement of tools, procedures, and processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
  4. Ensuring quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  5. Travelling to client and/or other RPS offices may be required.
  6. Leading a team to build, maintain, and manage strong and collaborative working relationships with clients.
Requirements

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. A degree qualification in a relevant technical subject is preferred, along with Chartered or working towards chartership for Senior or Principal grades.
