Job Title: Senior Commercial Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Officer to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and suppliers
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives
  • Manage and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain commercial and contractual knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial and contract management
  • Strong knowledge of MoD contracting structure and DEFCONs and QDCs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
