About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Benenden Hospital. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing outpatient and inpatient consultations and surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sound knowledge and support to patients, including planning and delivering patient care and supporting treatment and aftercare as required.
  • Work within a governance framework and adhere to national/local regulatory requirements and clinical and professional standards.
  • Provide support and supervision to junior staff as may be required.
  • Enhance knowledge of wound care/tissue viability and preoperative assessment experience.
  • Develop and maintain excellent organisational planning and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and ethics in all aspects of your work.

Requirements
  • Enhanced knowledge of wound care/tissue viability or willingness to undertake training.
  • Preoperative assessment experience or willingness to undertake training.
  • ILS training.
  • Proven ability to undertake multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational planning and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and ethics.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as be able to work autonomously.
