About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estate Service Worker to join our team at Gloucester City Homes. As an Estate Service Worker, you will be responsible for providing a professional and effective neighbourhood estates service, including gardening, maintenance of communal areas, and minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out gardening and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of communal areas
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our estates
  • Remove waste and debris from communal areas
  • Assist in the movement and maintenance of vehicles
  • Perform damp and mould washes in customers' homes
  • Work with the grounds maintenance team to ensure the upkeep of our estates
Requirements
  • Experience of garden maintenance and landscaping
  • Experience of working alongside a grounds maintenance team using petrol equipment
  • Experience of Health & Safety (Safe working practices, Risk Assessment, COSHH)
  • Strong customer focus and ability to deal with residents and members of the public
  • Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative
  • Flexible and positive approach
  • UK driving license
