As a valued member of the Boden Design Team, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

The Junior Print Designer will be responsible for working closely with the senior design team, contributing to the development of innovative and unique print designs that meet the high standards of our brand.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and developing print concepts that showcase the Boden brand aesthetic
  2. Working closely with the product and design teams to ensure seamless integration of print designs into our product range
  3. Collaborating with the senior design team to develop and refine print designs, ensuring they meet the brand's high standards
  4. Developing and maintaining technical CAD drawings and artwork packs
  5. Managing critical path dates and ensuring deadlines are met
  6. Participating in approvals at all stages, from development to production
  7. Gaining inspiration and innovative design ideas from various sources, including competitors and inspirational brands
  8. Ensuring a deep understanding of the Boden brand values and customer needs
  9. Managing PLM systems, including uploading tech packs, artwork, and colours, and creating BOMs
  10. Managing weekly CP approvals
  11. Developing strong organisational and time management skills
  12. Utilising a keen eye for colour, print, and design
  13. Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and innovations
  14. Attending fits and providing initial support
  15. Presenting with the support of a manager
  16. Monitoring trade and reacting where necessary

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of competitor and inspirational brands, a keen interest in colour and print, excellent CAD skills, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and PLM experience. A degree in Fashion Design, Print, Illustration, or Textiles is preferred, along with sufficient DAA or Design Assistant experience and examples of design work.
