Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and are seeking a skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to work in our Cardiology Department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in clinical echocardiography and will be responsible for supporting and developing our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct echocardiography examinations and provide high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment
  • Support and develop our services, including promoting training for registrars and junior staff
  • Work collaboratively with our team of Cardiology Consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives in the Cardiology Department
Requirements
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology with Cardiac Specialism
  • UK Resus Council Immediate Life Support
  • Demonstrated intention to achieve higher level qualification in a specific area of Cardiology
  • IBHRE - Cardiac devices
  • Significant experience working in a Cardiac Department
